This policy explains how Fishlimpia (fishlimpia.com, operated by Techbyte OÜ) uses cookies and similar browser storage. The short version: we set no cookies of our own; the only third-party cookies come from the providers behind specific features, when you use those features; and on our public marketing pages, and only with your consent, we use the Meta pixel to measure our advertising (section 4).
The Fishlimpia web app sets no cookies. Signing in does not create a session cookie: authentication uses a token kept in your browser's local storage (or in secure storage in the mobile apps). The only exception is a short-lived technical cookie our server sets while you authorize an AI assistant to access your account (the MCP connection flow); it exists only to complete that authorization securely and is strictly necessary for it.
The web app keeps a small set of functional items in your browser's local storage. They are not cookies, they are never sent to third parties, and they are not used for tracking:

Some features are delivered by third parties, and those providers can set their own cookies in your browser when you use the feature:

These cookies are governed by each provider's own privacy and cookie policies: Stripe, Google, Cloudflare, YouTube.
On our public marketing pages (the landing, pricing, sport and resource pages, and only there) we use the Meta pixel to measure our advertising: which ads bring visitors and whether our campaigns work. Where the law requires prior consent (the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), it loads only if you accept it on the consent dialog shown on those pages; rejecting it loads nothing from Meta. Elsewhere it loads by default and you can opt out at any time with the button below; a refusal is honoured wherever you are. When it runs, Meta sets its _fbp cookie on those pages for that sole purpose. The pixel is never present inside the application once you sign in, nor in the iOS and Android apps. Your answer is remembered in local storage; clearing this site's data withdraws it.
Done: ads measurement is off on this browser.
Beyond that measurement, we use no analytics cookies and no other advertising cookies or tracking pixels anywhere (our own statistics work without cookies, section 5). If you create an account, we also store how you first arrived (our own campaign tags and landing page, kept in your browser's local storage and sent once with the registration; never sent otherwise).
We measure which pages and sources bring visits to fishlimpia.com with our own Umami instance, hosted on our own servers (analytics.fishlimpia.com). It sets no cookies, stores no personal data (it does not store your IP address and cannot identify you) and never follows you to other sites, so it requires no consent. It honours your browser's "Do Not Track" signal and is never present in the iOS and Android apps.
Beyond that count, and only if you accept it on the consent banner, the same tool records the session on our public marketing pages: scrolling, clicks, cursor movement and the content of the page, so we can replay afterwards how it was navigated and see what breaks. Whatever you type into form fields is always masked and never recorded. It is a different script from the counter: reject it and it is never loaded, while the counter carries on unchanged. It never runs inside the app once you sign in, nor in the iOS and Android apps, and recordings are deleted after a few days.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time. Blocking third-party cookies does not affect the core of Fishlimpia; it may only affect the specific features listed above (for example, the Google sign-in popup).
