Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fishlimpia mobile application and website at fishlimpia.com (the "Service"), operated by Techbyte OÜ ("we", "us"), a company registered in Estonia. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Fishlimpia is a training platform for athletes and coaches: training plans, session logging, performance tests, training-device integrations and related tools. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription as described below.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are personal: sharing one account between several people is not permitted.
• Coach accounts may require a manual review before they can invite athletes.

3. Subscription Plans

Current plans and monthly prices (EUR, VAT included where applicable):

Each plan's exact feature set is shown on the pricing page, which is the up-to-date reference. Coach billing adjusts automatically with the number of accepted athletes; Team billing adjusts with the number of billable coach seats (coaches who hold their own active subscription do not consume a seat).

4. Purchases Are Web Only

Subscriptions can be purchased and managed exclusively on the fishlimpia.com website. The iOS and Android apps are free downloads and do not offer in-app purchases; a subscription purchased on the web unlocks the paid features in the apps with the same account.

5. Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; see the Privacy Policy for details.
• Prices include VAT where applicable; the applicable VAT is determined by your billing country.
• Usage-based amounts (additional athletes or coach seats) are prorated and settled on your regular invoice.
• If a renewal payment fails, we retry it; if it keeps failing, the subscription is cancelled and your account falls back to the Free plan.

6. Trials and Invitation Codes

New accounts may receive a time-limited free trial of a paid plan, with no card required; when it ends the account falls back to the Free plan automatically unless you subscribe. During early-access phases, subscribing may additionally require a valid invitation code.

7. Cancellation and Downgrades

• You can cancel at any time from the billing page. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed; you can also undo a pending cancellation until then.
• Downgrading never deletes your data. Paid features simply lock: for example, older training plans beyond your plan's allowance become read-only history (still viewable), and device-capture or test features become unavailable until you subscribe again. Re-subscribing restores access to the same data.

8. Refunds

By starting a subscription you request immediate access to the paid features and acknowledge that, once the service has begun, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies to the period already provided. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us at info@fishlimpia.com and we will review it; statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Fair Use

Paid features are licensed per account. Using one Coach or Team account to provide the paid feature set to people who are not genuinely coached athletes of that coach (account farming) is not permitted and may lead to suspension after notice.

10. Health Disclaimer

Training involves inherent risk of injury. The Service provides tools and information, not medical advice. You are responsible for training within your abilities; the in-app liability disclaimer you accept at signup forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may change features, plans or prices. Price changes for an active subscription are announced in advance and apply from the next renewal; if you disagree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. We may update these Terms; significant changes are notified through the app or by email.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
